She holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies education (grades 7–12) from Buffalo State College and a master’s degree in Teaching and Curriculum from the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education at the University of Rochester.

Jessica is an active member of the Rochester Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the American Advertising Federation Greater Rochester Chapter, the Rochester Association of Black Journalists, and ForbesBLK.

Her honors include being named a finalist for the 2024 Colors of Success Leadership Award presented by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, the 2023 Causewave Spark Award, the 2021 Rochester Business Journal Forty Under 40, 2020 PRSA Rising Star Award and a finalist for the 2018 ATHENA young professional award.
